Import Customer Service Executive
1. Main responsibility
- Check prices with overseas agents and provide optimal solutions regarding pricing, schedules, procedures, and documentation for customers or the sales department in the clearest and most efficient manner.
- Resolve inquiries and resolve complaints to ensure customer satisfaction with the company’s services.
- Build reputation and image for the company's services.
Support the Sales department as make a quotation and send it to the customers.
2. Job description
- Check Air/Sea freight rates with agents/carriers to find competitive pricing, compare rates, and provide quotations to the sales department.
- Support the sales team in quoting, consulting services, schedules for customers for freehand shipments.
- Arrange bookings and monitor shipment progress.
- Check import procedures/purchase costs with the logistics department and provide
- quotations to agents for DAP, DDP, DDU shipments.
- Coordinate with departments to quickly and effectively handle customer requests. Track, notify, update shipping status for customers, agents.
- Process customer and agent data. Keep information and maintain, develop relationships with customers, agents.
- Assist the Accounting department in recovering outstanding debts.
- Resolve any issues related to shipments.
- Prepare work reports, volume reports, and perform self-assessment of monthly KPIs.
- Handle other tasks as assigned by the manager.
3. Job requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in economics, import-export, logistics, etc.
- Experience: At least 1 year in a similar position.
- Priority: Know Chinese.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving skill.
- Proficient in using office software.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Dynamic, meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to work under high pressure.
- Commitment to maintaining information confidentiality.

Work time
- Monday to Friday: Morning: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Afternoon: 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM.
- Saturday: Working in the morning 8:00 A.M – 12:00 P.M, with 2 Saturdays off per month.
