Key Account Procurement Staff
I. MAIN ROLE
- Proactively search for, connect with, and expand the network of new international agents, especially in China and India, to directly support new cargo volumes.
- Check buying rates and negotiate prices with agents to ensure sufficient space allocation and establish a smooth coordination process between all parties.
- Coordinate with the Customer Service team to hand over agent information and handle issues arising with overseas partners.
- Perform other tasks as assigned and required by the Line Manager.
II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Agent Sourcing & Network Development
- Proactively search for, connect with, and expand a network of reliable new agents in target countries/trade lanes (especially for Inbound and Cross Trade shipments).
- Evaluate capabilities, negotiate, and sign cooperation agreements with overseas agents to build long-term partnerships.
Pricing Sourcing & Cost Optimization (Pricing)
- Directly contact agents to obtain buying rates and related charges at the Port of Loading (POL) or Port of Destination (POD).
- Negotiate and secure the best rates with agents to optimize input costs and increase competitiveness for the Sales Support team when bidding and quoting customers.
Operations & Sales Support
- Regularly update rate sheets, policies, and key trade lanes of the agent network for the Project Team during bidding periods.
- Closely coordinate with the CS – Key Account team to hand over agent information and support the resolution of issues or incidents related to costs or procedures with overseas agents during shipment handling.
- Perform other tasks as assigned and required by the Line Manager.
III. JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate from College/University with a major in Logistics, International Business, International Trade, Foreign Trade, or other related economic fields.
- At least 1.5 – 2 years of experience in Overseas, Pricing, Sales Support, or Customer Service positions involving work with overseas agents in Forwarding/Logistics companies.
- Fluent English, especially in email writing, communication, and negotiation with overseas partners. Chinese, Korean, or Japanese language skills are an advantage.
- Good negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical ability and sensitivity to pricing and the international logistics market.
- Good communication skills and confidence in working within a multicultural environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proactive, careful, responsible, and able to work under high pressure.
- Possess a mindset for developing agent networks and a long-term career orientation within the logistics industry.

V. WORKING HOURS
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM; 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM.
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM; two Saturdays off per month.
