Export Customer Service Executive
1. Main responsibility
- Advise and provide the most optimal solutions regarding pricing, schedule, procedures, and documentation to customers in a clear and effective manner.
- Answer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction with the company’s services.
- Build reputation and image for the company’s services.
2. Job description
- Collaborate with sales department to maintain, expand, and develop relationships with existing customers and agents.
- Support sales in quoting, consulting services, and schedules for customers for freehand shipments.
- Coordinate with the pricing department to check and quote, consult services, and schedules for nominated shipments from agents.
- Coordinate with internal departments to quickly and effectively handle customer requests including booking arrangements, container pickup/drop-off, and execution of transportation procedures.
- Update, and promptly inform customers and agents about the status of shipments.
- Closely follow up and promptly resolve any issues arising during the transportation process.
- Process customer and agent data, maintaining records and develop relationships with clients and agents.
- Negotiate and finalize service contract terms with customers under the department's management.
- Assist the Accounting department in recovering outstanding debts.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports, volume reports, and perform self-assessment of monthly KPIs.
- Handle other tasks as assigned by the manager.
3. Job requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in economics, import-export, logistics, etc.
- Experience: At least 1 year in a similar position.
- Preference: Experience in handling US and Canada trade lanes is an advantage.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving skill.
- Proficient in using office software.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Dynamic, meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to work under high pressure.
- Commitment to maintaining information confidentiality.

Work time
- Monday to Friday: Morning: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Afternoon: 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM.
- Saturday: Working in the morning 8:00 A.M – 12:00 P.M, with 2 Saturdays off per month.
